The purpose of this site is to publish information relevant to sports enthusiasts, including high school, township, and intramural sporting events in the South Jersey area (i.e. schedules, scores, standings, pictures, and articles about local sports and athletes). The site has employed both reporters and photographers, but, because we cannot be at every event for every school, articles submitted by individuals are encouraged. For those schools who have less than favorable quantities of coverage in the local media, this is an opportunity to spread the word about their programs, athletes, etc. Revenues are generated by advertising and sponsorship, not subscription.
We encourage participation of students, faculty, parents and alumni in the submission of articles for their schools and their local townships. Our editors review articles submitted, but the author's name is published in the byline. We include a link to the school's web site and other sport related sites.
Sponsorship:
- Plan A: Your highly visible banner header ad would appear as standard at the top of our site across every page (currently over 18000 different pages receiving over 120,000 page views per month). Also your logo will appear on one of our Sports Focus pages (i.e. basketball, football, ice hockey, etc.). Perfect for adding a link to your company's web site and providing more awareness to your business. A separate web page can be added showing the relationship established between our site and yours labeling you as our official product sponsor (i.e. ABC Company - our officially sponsored apparel worn by SJSports Online). From that page, a link to your site would redirect our readers to your company.
