High School Ice Hockey: Arnold and Gooch Help Clearview Edge Eastern Friday, January 19, 2001 By Mike Costantino SJSports Staff Writer Ryan Arnold had a natural hat trick and Mike Gooch added two goals and an assist as Clearview moved into a tie for second place with its 5-4 victory over Eastern. Mike Purwin paced the Vikings attack with two goals. Gooch scored the only goal of the first period as he went top shelf to beat Eastern goalie Dan Meyers. Monday, January 15, 2001 By Jeff Jubelirer SJSports Special Correspondent Voorhees-based American Water Works Company recently launched its second annual Hoops and Heroes scholarship program for female high school basketball players. The program rewards scholar-athletes for their academic, athletic and community achievements.
