South Jersey Soccer: Soccer Campers Beat the Heat Friday, August 10, 2001 By Boog Williams Just like last year, the Star Soccer Academy day camp rolled into South Jersey and so did a heat wave. With temperatures in the high 90's to low 100's, lots of water was being taken in and coaches had to come up with new ways of doing drills to keep the campers happy. The camp was the last stop of the 9 weeks of camps in the Tri-State area. It was held at the Camden County Vo-Tech High School in Sicklerville, NJ. |
