Michael Cianfrani Skates With Heart

Whether it's on blades or on wheels, Michael Cianfrani loves to play hockey. This Eastern Regional High School Junior has played hockey for the past 3 years as a center, and aspires to play college hockey for Notre Dame. If he's not playing hockey, he spends much of his time working out to keep conditioned and strong.

In school, Mike prefers subjects like Math over History and plans to continue his education pursuing a degree in Business Management. Outside of school and sports, his interests include the Rap artist DMX, movies like "Enemy of the State" or the card shark flick "Rounders", and his favorite actress is the popular Pamela Anderson of the TV show "VIP".

Mike recognizes Coach Mike Pontonio for much of the team's success and credits him for teaching the "importance of pulling together as a team and playing with heart."

The most influencial person in Mike's life is his Dad. Nothing can say it better than Mike's own words, "He keeps motivating me to do better. Treats me real good and works hard to pay for my hockey." Way to go, Dad.
