South Jersey Baseball:
Rainbow Warriors And Red Road Runners Play In Opener

Opening day for the BTAA turned out to be a perfect sun filled day. A day that saw the opening of not just baseball and softball but...T-Ball. T-Ball is a learning league for both boys and girls ages 5-7. It teaches the children the basics of baseball and provides hours of fun for the kids.

Team Rainbow Warriors (sponsored by C&M Auto) played against Team Red Road Runners (sponsored by Luzi Insurance Services). For the Rainbow Warriors, D. Law caught a pop up fly ball and P. Dawson had 2 great defensive plays. Great switch hitting was shown by A. Marone and D. Law.

For the Red Road Runners, C. Steiner played great defense, D. Magazzu did some great hitting and J. Odegaard showed promise in both hitting and fielding.

A great time was had by all.
