The Atlantic City Surf announces two new additions for the 2004 season’s staff. Mike Wolverton will be the play-by-play announcer and Mike DiDomenico will be the color commentator for all Surf games broadcasted on 1490AM The Game this season.
Mike Wolverton has real broadcasting experience with two seasons as play-by-play announcer for the Utica Blizzard of the old Colonial Hockey League. He also called about 30 games for the Utica Blue Sox of the New York-Penn League and has held numerous on-air radio jobs. He’s worked for Chattanooga in the Southern League and has a Master’s Degree in Television-Radio from the S.I. Newhouse School at Syracuse University. Mike has a Bachelor of Arts from Duke University as well.

“We’re proud to have two professionals doing radio this season,” said Chuck Betson; Media, Marketing, and Sales Director of the Atlantic City Surf. “We wish them the best and hope all of the Surf fans will listen in to the games.”
