The Surf took the second game of a three-game series with the Nashua Pride last night as Orlando Miller hit two home runs to lead the way for Jeff Ball''s bunch. With one on in the second inning, Chad Alexander was hit by a pitch, after which Miller answered with a three-run home run that set the pace for the Surf''s evening. He hit his second of the evening and fifth on the year in the ninth to give the Surf and Conor Brooks some breathing room.
Damon Ponce Deleon got the win and evened his record at 2-2. Brooks recorded his fourth save of the season. The losing pithcer was Juan Pena. His record drops to 1-4. The rubber game of this series, and last of this nine-game road trip, is set for a 6:35 first pitch tonight. You can catch all of the action with Mike Wolverton on 1490, "The Game".
