Riversharks Kid's Club Baseball Clinic and Picnic

On what was a great day for baseball the Camden Riversharks hosted the 1st Annual "Riversharks Kid's Club Baseball Clinic and Picnic". It was well attended by parents and kids alike, and by the looks of things it was hard to tell who was having the better time. Riversharks players and front office staff, as well as coaches and players from local high schools joined together to show the members of the Kid's Club valuable skills that will help them succeed at the game of baseball.
 The experience was best summed up by 9 year old Camden resident Ashley Newhall, "it was fun!" and when asked about lunch she said the hotdog, "was the best one I've ever had."
Watching the way the coaches interacted with the kids was refreshing, there was a lot of patience being exhibited and it was paying off, the stress level was no where it generally is when some of these kids are playing and they seemed relieved by that.
The event was first rate and if the way the clinic was handled is any indication of the leadership of the 'Sharks organization then things will be going smoothly for years to come.
