(Trenton, NJ)- Omir Santos and Vince Faison hit home runs to lead the Thunder to a 8-0 win over Portland on Monday night. It is the fourth straight win for Trenton.

C Omir Santos got Trenton (15-21) on the board with a solo homer in the 2nd Inning off Portland starter Phil Seibel. The lead went to 3-0 in the 4th Inning on a two-run homer by LF Vince Faison. Seibel (0-2) took the loss allowing three runs on six hits in five innings. Meanwhile, Thunder starter Steven White worked out of some early wildness and went on to work six shutout innings for the win. White (2-1) allowed three hits with two walks and two strikeouts. He also hit three batters.

The Sea Dogs (19-15), who hadn't played in three days due to rain, did not help their own cause. Portland was 0-for-10 with runners in scoring position.
