The Heritage Hoops League Rolls on in their Summer League
Monday, July 8, 2002

If you are looking for a good competitive summer basketball league, the Heritage Hoops League in Lawnside, New Jersey is the place to be. The league is in its second year following a 10-12 year hiatus. The league's name and reputation for great ball players is quickly growing. Many current All-South Jersey & past All-South Jersey players play in the league. Names such as Terrell Baker, Curtis Scott, Reggie Welch, Brian Turner, Antraye Miles, Torry Brooks, etc are all in this league. We seem to add a new sponsor everyday and you never know who'll be there watching.
Dajuan Wagner showed up on opening day to watch a team of former Woodrow Wilson/Camden High players take on a team from Lawnside including Terrell Baker (formerly of Camden County Tech & Florida State University) Torry Brooks & Reggie Welch (South Jersey's second All-time Leading Scorer). The leagues website can be found on WWW.Eteamz.com/heritagehoops. It's full of opening day picture and great articles & stats.
