The Berlin Township Eisenhower girl's basketball team won their first game ever at home. With the break-up of the Lower Camden County School District, the seventh and eighth grade students that went to Overbrook Junior are now back playing at their home. It has been a tough year for the team so far. They have played hard, but have not been able to win. This changed, as they defeated Brooklawn 29-23.

The game started with the Eisenhower team jumping out to a lead. The first quarter ended with a good pass from #10 to #6. This made the score Eisenhower 6 - Brooklawn 4. Brooklawn took many shots, but just could not score in the second half. Eisenhower got a lot of rebounds and took a 9-4 lead at half. Eisenhower was the smaller team, but they never gave up on rebounds as #44 pulled down a lot.

The third quarter had the Brooklawn girls starting to full court press on Eisenhower. The quarter ended with Eisenhower 19 - Brooklawn 13. Brooklawn kept up the press and made it a close game with the score 19-17. Eisenhower was able to break the press and had a couple of great passes from #10. Brooklawn kept pressing and made the score 24-22. #10 did a no look pass from under the basket to #23. This put Eisenhower up 25 to 22. #12 helped put the game away with a lay up near the end of the game to make the score 29 - 23. The players and fans were happy in the first win ever at home.
