The University of the Sciences in Philadelphia placed four players in double figures as they defeated the Felician College golden Falcons, 83-53 in a Central Atlantic Collegiate conference men's basketball matchup Saturday afternoon at the Bobby Morgan Arena in Philadelphia.

The win improved the Devils record to 8-6 overall and 5-3 in league play. Felician falls to 6-9 overall and 4-5 in league play. The 30-point margin of victory was the Devils largest since a 29 point win over Wilmington College at the start of the 2003-04 season.

Eric Cangelosi (Sr., Camden Catholic HS/Haddon Heights, N.J.) led the Devils with 18 points, nine rebounds and six assists. William Kurtz (Sr., Shawnee HS/Shamong, N.J.) added 16 and Keith Dundas (Jr., Pennsbury HS/Morrisville, Pa.), 14. Collin Harrington (Sr., Bishop Eustace HS/Sewell, N.J.), seeing his first action since an ankle injury sidelined him just before Christmas, came off the bench to score 12 points. Kurtz and Harrington also had six rebounds and four assists apiece.

Michael Pierrot led all scorers with 24 points and 11 rebounds and was the only Golden Falcon player to reach double figures.

After a Pierrot layup to open the second half, Kurtz continued where he left off against PSU-Abington, hitting two three point field goals in a row to boost the Devils lead to 21, 48-27. The Devils' lead fluctuated between 17 and 21 points and was 18 when the Devils went on a 10-2 run to open a 26-point lead, 66-40 with 9:55 left. The Devils started the run with layups by Curtis Fitch (Fr., Marianapolis Prep/North Grosvenordale, Conn.) and Harrington. Felician's Sydir Mitchell added two free throws before Cangelosi and Kurtz added three point field goals to close out the run.

Felician countered with a 10-2 run to cut the lead back to 18, 68-50 with 6:53 left before USP finished the game with a 15-3 spurt to earn the 30-point victory, 83-53. Shane Connor (So., Pocono Mountain East HS/Canadensis, Pa.) scored six of USP's 15 points during their final run with Charlie Fritsch (So., Hun School of Princeton (N.J.)/Durham, NC) adding four and Steve Linton (SR., J.F.K. Memorial HS/Iselin, N.J.) three.

For the game, the Devils shot 57.4% from the field (31-54, 8-15 3FG) and were 13 of 22 from the free throw line (59.1%).
