South Jersey Football: South Jersey vs. Trenton Friday, August 5, 2005 By Marty Cross South Jersey Lynx Football Club South Jersey Lynx (3-0) take their undefeated team to Ewing, NJ to face the Trenton Raiders (2-1). The Lynx are getting better acquainted with all the teams in the New Jersey Division. For the third consecutive game, they battle a team that they've never faced before. With the Lynx coming off of a hard fought 13-6 win against the New Jersey Terminators; they will be looking to get one week better. The Lynx are due for the entire team to click on all cylinders. The Raiders on the other hand, are coming off of a 52-0 stomping of the Long Island Eagles. As a new team, this has to give this team a confidence boost with their early success in this league. These two cities have been rivals for years until the perspective high schools stopped competing against each other. Now the rivalry is being rekindled so make sure you witness the dawn of a new era.
