WILLINGBORO, NJ (South Jersey Lynx) – For the second week in a row the South Jersey Lynx found themselves in a dogfight with a tough opponent, and for the second straight week the team came out on top. This time it was a hard fought 20-6 triumph over a pesky New York Panther squad at JFK Center.

Marty Cross hooked up with Maurice Taylor for a 54-yard TD toss early in the game, and Anthony Coleman’s 46-yard return for a touchdown off a block punt by Paul Hand sealed the win for the Lynx ( 9-0), who need to win their season finale to clinch home-field advantage throughout the playoffs. The Lynx are currently the second-seed in the tentative playoff brackets.
