Eastern Wins Camden County Open

The Eastern High School golf team won the team championship at the Camden County Open yesterday, but it was Bob Hennefer of Bishop Eustace who took home the individual title after defeating Eastern's Ryan McCarty in a one hole playoff. Hennefer and McCarty were tied at 74 after regulation play. Harry Buzhardt of Triton came in third with a 76.

For the team championship the Vikings edged Triton by four strokes, winning with an overall of 321. Eastern placed all four of their players in the top 20 (McCarty 74, Devin Milowe 77, B.J. Jaworski 85, Ben Smith 85). Bishop Eustace came in third with a 334.

The tournament was held at par 70 Pennsauken Country Club.
