Reggie Welch, as of this writing, is playing basketball overseas. He has played abroad in Turkey, Taiwan and Sweden. He plays guard, and has played closer to home for the Camden Power and the Atlantic City Seagulls in the USBL.

Growing up in the West Philly area has helped him develop his competitive nature and focus on his game. Reggie says, "For me, basketball has been an avenue to explore places, meet many people and see things in the world that I never thought possible." Reggie places top priority in his faith, friends and family, particularly his fiancée and young daughter. He credits his brother Harry as his hero for being the most positive influence in his life and encouraging Reggie to be a good person. His favorite basketball player is the all time favorite, Michael Jordan.

An alumnus of Cleveland State University and Coppin State College, Reggie has a Bachelor's degree in Social Work and Criminal Justice. He volunteers some of his off season time to working with the Camden City Mentor program and likes to focus on the summer programs geared to youth aged 12 to 18 years old. Like his feelings on the importance of family, he also feels it is vital to the integrity of the community to be involved in these programs by sharing with others life experiences and talents.
