The Green Wave from Audubon got their season off on the right track when they hosted the Silver Knights from Sterling. Through seven innings, the Wave would pick up the 7-6 victory by rallying for three runs during the bottom of the sixth inning. This Colonial Conference game would be won by Tim Bolburian for Audubon. The next game up for the Wave would be another home game against the Gateway Gators. Sterling would look to pick up their first win of the season when they travel to Haddon Heights.

Audubon would plate the first run of the game during the bottom of the first inning. They would add two more runs during the second inning on a walk and a pair of singles. Sterling would bring the score to 3-1 during the top of the fourth inning and then took the lead, 5-4 during the top half of the sixth inning. The Knights scored four times during that inning taking advantage of their scoring opportunities. Audubon would respond by regaining the lead for good by scoring three runs during the bottom of the sixth.
