The Lady Crusaders were in a very familiar place but something was a little different. For the past three years, the girl’s soccer team from Bishop Eustace was the third seeded team heading into the playoffs. This year as the number one seed in the South Jersey Parochial B bracket, the Crusaders moved one step closer. Making another run at capturing their second straight title, Bishop Eustace recorded a 2-0 victory over fifth seeded Purple Roses from St. Rose of Belmar. Next up for the Crusaders will be the title game against Holy Spirit.

Continuing on their success they had all season long, Bishop Eustace has been led by Aimee Bresani and she didn’t disappoint her team. Breaking open a scoreless tie that ended in the second half, Bresani game winning goal gave the Crusaders a 1-0 advantage. Tara Lawer added the second goal late in the half for Bishop Eustace.
