With last year's group of leadership now taking on new challenges, a new group has accepted the role of a leader looking to continue on their school’s success. The Lady Quakers from Moorestown were hosting the Falcons from Burlington Township to start off the new field hockey season. Moorestown’s offense, traditionally known to score goals in bunches, took awhile in getting their first score of the season. Just over twelve minutes into this game, the Lady Quakers would score their first of four first half goals. With Haddon Township and Timber Creek advancing to the finals of this tournament, it would be the Hawks from Haddon Township outlasting the Chargers to win it all.

Each game that the Lady Falcons from Burlington Township’s field hockey team has played has been an uphill battle. But that hasn’t stopped them from putting on the uniform and giving their best effort on the field. It would another steep hill to climb as they would travel to Moorestown High School to take on the Lady Quakers. Moorestown had started out the week with a tough win over Cherokee and were looking to keep up their finesse on the field. Burlington Township would keep the game close in the first half, but the Quakers were able to break this game open in the second half. Moorestown would pick up their eighth victory of the season by defeating the Falcons by a 9-0 margin.
