So far this season, football teams have found out a bit more about themselves. Just like any organized sport, it takes practice and game time experience to really find out how well a team plays on the field. It may take a game or two, but when the entire team plays on the same page of the playbook, everything works out with the results on the scoreboard. Timber Creek’s Terrance Gass had all the right wholes to run through rushing for three touchdowns leading the way for the Chargers to pick up the road victory at Burlington Township. With their 41-22 win, Timber Creek would pick up their first win of the season.

Timber Creek jumped out with the early 7-0 when Jason Kearns tossed his only touchdown pass of the game to Walton. The starting quarterback was not done scoring. The Falcons would tie the game on D.J. Golden’s 67 yard catch and run touchdown reception from Jim Jeffers. The Chargers would respond right back by scoring the next 27 points on the ground. Three rushing touchdowns from 2, 59 and 1 yard, Gass and Kearns 2 yard run put Timber Creek ahead 34-7. Kearns would add another 1 yard run in the fourth quarter. Doug Billingsley 70 kickoff return and Bobby Giles 21 yard touchdown run finished the scoring in this game.
