Katie Hammond scored her only goal of the game with 1:02 left to play, but it was the one that counted in awarding Cherry Hill East (7-6) with a 10-9 win over Camden Catholic (6-6). The win snapped a 3 game losing streak for the Lady Cougars. Julie Lukoff led Cherry Hill East with four goals.

The Lady Cougars opened the game with three unanswered goals to pull ahead 3-0. But Camden Catholic was not intimidated, and fought back to take a 6-5 lead at halftime.

Camden Catholic scored the first goal of the second half to pull further ahead 7-5. But Cherry Hill east followed this up with a 4 goal run (including Julie Lukoff's third and fourth of the game) to pull ahead 9-7 with 12:49 left in the half. The two teams battled for almost eight minutes until Marcy Cuneo scored her fourth and Katie Gallegher her second to tie it up 9-9 with 2:45 remaining. Then Hammond scored her only goal to break the tie and send the Lady Cougars home with the victory.
