Rancocas Valley had very aspect of their game working for them when they traveled to Camden Catholic to take on the Lady Irish. By now most of everyone has heard the name Lisa Sweeney and her impressive years as the Red Devils’ starting pitcher. Today would be another game for the record books for Rancocas Valley as they would score early and often scoring more than enough runs for Sweeney. Dana Bieniek led the hit attack against the Irish collecting four hits and the Red Devils added two homeruns to defeat Camden Catholic 8-0 in a non-league competition.

Right at the start of this game, Rancocas Valley scored twice in the first and second innings to pull ahead 4-0. Meanwhile, Sweeney was just getting started keeping the Lady Irish hitless and off balanced at the plate. The Red Devils on the other hand kept the hitting attack going as they would pick up at least a hit in every inning. Dana Bieniek and Jana Loehr each had a home run during one of their at bats to highlight this game. Sweeney would finish the game with 18 strikeouts, one walk, no hits and no runs to earn the victory.
