It's no big secret that the wrestling program from Camden Catholic is very good at what they do. What they have done so far was to compile a winning record that has labeled them as one of the top wrestling teams in the state of New Jersey. With individual records at stake, each wrestler has made a personal commitment to come away with the win for the team. Ocean Township would be the next test for Camden Catholic and they would pass with a high grade. The Irish recorded pins during the first two bouts of the night and that momentum along with the fan support allowed Camden Catholic to wrestle their way to a 49-6 win. The Irish would increase their record to 15-2 and continue to lead the South Jersey Non-Public Group A standings.

It was the place to be on a Friday night as many had showed up to view Camden Catholic take on the power point leaders of the Central Jersey Group 3. Ocean Township found themselves trailing quickly as Mike Ragone and Anthony Maloney each pinned their opponent to jump out to a 12-0 lead during the 215 and heavyweight bouts. Mike Tully would push Camden Catholic’s lead to 15-0 with a come from behind victory. Ocean Township would get their first points when Zac Coulas recorded a 6-0 decision over Corey Schmidt. But from that point on, it was all Camden Catholic.
