Cherokee roared back from a 2-0 deficit to beat Holy Cross 8-2 in playoff action at the Skate Zone in Voorhees. The loss eliminated Holy Cross from the tournament and ended their season. Pat Tamez scored both goals for Holy Cross in the first period as they controlled the play early on. However, goals by Mike Garofolo on the power play and Matt DeLucia tied the game after the first period.

The game swung in the second period as Holy Cross failed to take advantage of the man advantage and surrendered two short-handed goals, one by Louis Sarcone and the other by Pat McMahon. Leading 4-2 late in the period Sarcone and Dan Shaw scored forty-six seconds to break the game open at 6-2. Mike Scian and Shaw added goals in the third period to help Cherokee move into the next round. They will meet Cherry Hill on Tuesday at Voorhees.
