Six different players scored goals as the Cinnaminson Pirates defeated the Minutemen of Washington Township 7-3 in Tier 2 action at Hollydell. Trailing 3-2 late in the second period, Cinnaminson tied the game on a goal by Anthony Mottola after Bryan Crosby fed a pass from the corner to Mottola who was stationed along the side of the net. Moments later with the period winding down and Township caught in a line change, Crosby broke in all alone and his quick shot found the net to give Cinnaminson the lead for good at 4-3.

After the teams traded goals in the first period, Peter Cahill gave Cinnaminson a 2-1 lead after mishandling a pass at the end of a 3-on-2 break. Cahill took a shot from along the boards and somehow the puck found its way into the net. Marco Jordan would score the next two goals for Township, both on odd-man rushes to give Township a brief 3-2 lead, but the Pirates responded scoring the last five goals of the game.

Leading 4-3 heading into the third period, Ian Buchanan made it 5-3 scoring early in the period. Anthony Asciutto and Cahill put the game out of reach scoring moments apart as Cinnaminson solidified its hold on second place. Despite struggling this year, Coach Siciliano has a young team with just three seniors on his roster and a talented group of under classmen; the future looks bright for the Minutmen.
