The number one seeded Panthers from Collingswood were waiting around for the first round of the girl’s South Jersey Group 2 playoffs to complete. Their opponent would be against the Wildcats from Pinelands, as they would defeat Delran to advance to the next round. Eager to get the post season started, Collingswood demonstrated that they were ready to defend their top seed status by rolling all over the Wildcats from start to finish. The Panthers held their opponent to just six points in the first and moved on to the next round with their 50-37 win at home.
Right from the opening tip-off, Collingswood gave their fans what they wanted. Jumping out to an early lead, the starting five came out with their aggressive defense to lead after one quarter 10-2. Ashlee Feldman led the Panthers to a double-digit lead in the second quarter. Things went the same way in the second half for Collingswood, as they would lead 40-15 after three quarters. Pinelands would outscore Collingswood in the final quarter behind Jackie Berry and Denise Varley team high 9 points apiece for the game. Collingswood would get a team high 16 points from Ashlee Feldman.
