One Goal Enough for Audubon

It's a thought that enters most players mind over and over again. There are those with visions of receiving a pass from your teammate and being able to kick the winning goal for your team. In a Colonial Conference game held at Collingswood High School, Audubon has been finding different ways of winning this season. In a very close competition for two halves, the Lady Green Wave found another way to extend their winning streak to three games by defeating the Panthers by a 1-0 margin.

Aububon has had an impressive start this season. Their effort on the field has rewarded them with a winning record in the Patriot Division. Jordan Wright and Kourtney Kalbach have demonstrated that they could come up with those big shots for the Wave. But when the team receives a goal from another team member, the results is even more rewarding. Maggie Gies did her job protecting the goal for Audubon by not allowing a single shot into the net. The only goal scored in this game was from Anna Francolino giving Aububon the 1-0 win.
