The Edgewood field hockey team is remaining in their slump. With the 1-4-2 start to the season, the Eagles look doubtful for their fourth consecutive state tournament run.

Despite the 5-0 score, the Eagles played their hardest against #1 ranked Eastern. This proved to be one of the few games Edgewood came out ready to play.

The next game became a must win against Cherry Hill East on Monday, Sept. 28th. The Eagles came out flat and lost 1-0. They remained in a scoring drought, tying a beatable Highland team 0-0 on Friday.

Edgewood needs a strong end to the season starting with rival school Overbrook on Tuesday. "We need to wake up and put the ball in the cage," said Senior Captain Beckie Goobic.
