High School Tennis:
Edgewood Ladies Look To Compete

This year at Edgewood the ladies tennis team seems to be doing very well. We have eight returning starters, including the number one singles player, Alexis Swintenko, who played as a freshman last year. Kristin Wolf is playing very strong and is recovering fast from her knee injury. Michelle Hamersly has improved a lot and might have a spot as a varsity player.

We have five new freshmen who seem to be picking things up very quickly. I'm sure they will enjoy the season.

I'm confident this year will be great, since we have two wonderful coaches: Mr. Mack and Mr. Totoro. I hope everyone will have fun and try their best. Andrea Johnson and I, the co-captains, would like to encourage everyone to stick together and hope for the best.

Let's go Ladies Tennis!!!

Coach Jeff Mack, now in his 14th season, ranks the Top 3 teams in the conference as: 1. Bishop Eustace, 2. Cherry Hill West, 3. Edgewood.
