Brandon Osborne was electrifying as the Eagles improved to 2-0 with a 49-7 win over Paul VI. Osborne had 150 yards on 5 carries, including 3 touchdowns. Jason Sapp scored on the first play from scrimmage, racing 50 yards for the Eagles' first score. Abner Tsadick kicked the extra point giving the Number 20 ranked Edgewood Eagles a 7-0 lead.

Osborne struck quickly and often as he scored the next five touchdowns of the first half. He returned an interception for 45 yards for the score and followed with runs of 60 and 55 yards for touchdowns. In the second quarter, he was the recipient of a 30 yard touchdown pass from quarterback Nick Rosetti.

Edgewood's second half touchdown came when backup Quarterback Ron Williams connected on a 70 yard pass to Aaron Johnson. The Eagles' defense was led by Matt Thomas, Chris Catania, Adam Faris, and Doug Pires.
