High School Football:
Edgewood Freshmen Continue 22 Game Undefeated Streak

The Edgewood Eagles Freshman Football Team is off to a 4 and 0 start. After a forfeit by Woodrow Wilson, the team was 1-0 in the first week. The second week was the start for the Eagles. They defeated Paul VI 34-0, making them 2-0. The following week Edgewood defeated Pennsauken by the score of 30-0.

The next game for the Eagles was a close 13-0 win over Highland. On the offensive side of the ball, several key players helped the Eagles to move the ball on the Tartans. Albert Thompson leads the Eagles backfield with 42 rushes for 351 yards and 3 touchdowns. Anthony Miles is our all around player and has 14 rushes for 251 yards and 4 touchdowns. Our quarterback, Jim Harris, is 10 for 15 passing for 175 yards and 4 touchdowns. On the defensive side, Jeffery Pratt, John Webb, Henery Wise and Cortney Terry have not allowed a point scored against the Eagles yet.
