West Deptford took full advantage of their field position throughout this game. The Lady Eagles girl's soccer team kept Gateway's keeper Raschel Clark busy in the net. But with all of those scoring opportunities, the ball was bound to find the back of the net. By the end of this Colonial Conference game, seven goals were scored by West Deptford. Ashley Antczak and Stephanie Hitchner scored twice in this game to lead the Eagles' shutout triumph over the Gators.
So far this season, West Deptford has recorded four shutouts, two losses and a tie in seven games. They had just suffered a loss in tough one goal loss to Haddonfield. On the other side of the field, Gateway had won two games in a row and was looking to extend that streak by one. The Eagles quickly determined the outcome of this game with Antczak and Hitchner both scoring twice and then Jenna Lindsay, Dana Romaine and Jessie McClusky each contributing to the seven goal victory.
