Glassboro's Lady Bulldogs Defeat Overbrook Lady Rams 3-0

Glassboro improves their team record to 2-0 by defeating Overbook (Opening game) 3-0. Glassboro's striker Rebecca Stockl scored the first 2 goals of the game in the first half. This led the Lady Bulldogs to a 2-0 lead at the half. Overbrook's keeper Stefanie Stone kept the Lady Rams in the game with some key saves.

In the second half, Kayla Seymore, Glassboro's left defender scored off of a corner kick late in the half. The kick came from the right corner and went pass the left post. The ball was bouncing around until Seymore volleyed it into the back of the net. Glassboro's keeper Brittany Johnson had 7 saves for the shutout, while Stone, Overbrook, had 18 saves.

Glassboro has upcoming games with Penns Grove and Gloucester County Tech. Overbrook has games at Schalick and then home opener with Salem on Friday.
