In any game when you find yourselves fighting an uphill battle, there are two possibilities to deal with your situation. You can just give up and let the other team dominate or put the score out of your mind and play hard until the final seconds. You couldn't tell that Haddon Heights was trailing in this game by their play on the field. The Hawks were able to jump ahead in this game to swing the momentum in their favor. Haddon Township's defense would be able to withstand the Garnets assault and preserve their 3-0 win.
Township has a host of talent players on their team representing their school as the top scorers of the area. Bryan Friedrich, A.J. O'Malley, Mike Ambrozy and A.J. Federico have found their share of goals this season. Each continues to add to their total with their reward being a team win.
O'Malley put Haddon Township on the scoreboard first with his successful penalty shot goal just out of the reach of the keeper. Friedrich continued his team leading total when his header from an O'Malley corner kick pushed Township's lead to 2-0. The final score of the game for the highlight reel when Bryan Hutches individual effort found the back of the net.
