So far this season, the Dragons from Kingsway have shown that they will keep their intensity at a high level during both halves of their soccer game. Suffering a one goal loss during their first game of the season, Kingsway would travel to Highland looking to even their record after two games. The Highland girl’s soccer team jumped out to a big lead that looked safe at halftime. The Lady Dragons’ effort during the second half would come up one goal short as Highland held off the Dragons by a 5-4 margin.

Highland started this game off with most of the play in Kingsway’s end of the field. The Tartans efforts would be rewarded with not just one goal, but a total of five before the half ended. Danielle Alizzo got the game’s first goal. That goal would be her first of two during the half. Tiffany Bledsoe would match her play by scoring two goals of her own. Maura Bianchini accounted for the fifth goal of the half. Kingsway would score four second half goals to make the game interesting. The Lady Tartans would hold on to their one goal advantage.
