In an opening round SJHSIHL playoff game played at the Coliseum on Tuesday night, the Lenape Indians shutout Collingswood 6-0. Led by Jeff Bagnoli's two goals and one by brother Gregg Bagnoli, the Indians move on to the second round. Collingswood seemed to have a good game plan as they played solid defense and took few chances offensively, but they still need to score goals. When they had the man advantage, they did not capitalize as they were 0-5 on the power play.

Lenape scored the only goal of the first period as Joe Schneck scored with just under four minutes played with the assists going to Art Bellocchio and Ken McClure and a 1-0 lead.

Early in the second period Greg Bagnoli scored his goal on the power play with the assist again to Bellocchio and it was 2-0. The Indians continued the pressure as they would launch fifteen shots in the period. The next score came at the six minute mark when Jeff Bagnoli got the first of his two and the second stanza ended with Lenape in control 3-0.

With Collingswood trailing by three goals they started to mount some offensive pressure but goalie Sean Sheehan had the answers. He made some good saves to preserve his shutout. Midway through the period with Collingswood on their second consecutive power play, Jeff Bagnoli scored his second goal of the game a shorthanded tally and a 4-0 lead. Joe Schneck would add his second of the game with another assist going to Bellocchio, his third of the night. Closing out the scoring was Ken McClure with an assist to Dan Whitlock.
