High School Ice Hockey:
Moorestown Too Much for Inexperienced Kingsway

Friday, December 21, 2001

Chris Frynkewicz had a career night scoring four goals and assisting on four others as Moorestown cruised by Kingsway 11-0 in Tier 2 action played at Hollydell on Friday night. Kevin Schaeffer and Andrew Jaffola chipped in with two goals each as Moorestown scored five times in the opening period and never looked back. Jason Ketchel gave Moorestown a quick 1-0 lead just two minutes into the game. Moorestown put on constant pressure with Ketchel putting in the puck from the side of the net.

Kingsway making its return to the league after a year absence has a very young team, dressing only two seniors from their roster of sixteen players. Hopefully the kids won't get discouraged and will continue to work hard. Despite the score on Friday, they kept working hard, which is something to build on for next season. Anthony Fendrick and Ian Kindermann were the other goal scorers for Moorestown.
