Greg Custer had four goals and two assists to lead undefeated Moorestown to a 10-0 rout of Sterling. Anthony Fendrick and Ian Kindermann chipped in with a goal and two assists each as Moorestown in their first year in the league, improved to 3-0 in Tier 2 competition. Custer netted a natural hat trick as he scored the first three goals in just over three minutes into the game.

Just thirteen seconds into the game, Custer put home a rebound in the slot. Just over a minute later, JT Hooper broke in with Custer on a 2-on-1 and Custer deposited the rebound for a 2-0 lead. Custer struck again as he skated in untouched and went top shelf to make it 3-0. Kindermann made it 4-0 on a nice feed from Custer, who skated behind the net and fed a pass to a wide open Kindermann.

Sterling's best chance to score came late in the first period as they had a two-man advantage for ninety seconds and managed no shots. Stosh Bangs, Kevin Schaffer and Mo Houshiarnejad also scored for Moorestown. Next up for the Quakers will be undefeated Lenape.
