Lenape went right to work early in their game against Paul VI. Knowing that the dangerous Lauren Nicholson was on the minds of most batters, Lenape used a big hit from Gina Mignogna. The Lady Indians jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first inning when Mignogna's home run put them ahead for good. Lenape recorded a 3-1 victory over Paul VI with Dana Bryson picking up the win.

It didn't take long for Lady Indians to realize that they could hit Nicholson's fastball. It was long before Lenape to gain their confidence that they could beat the Lady Eagles. Paul VI were well on their way to the South Jersey Parochial A playoffs next week while Lenape would have to wait until next year. That would not stop neither team from competing in this non-divisional Olympic Conference game.

Paul VI would cut their deficit in half when the scored one run in the bottom of the second inning. But an insurance run in the top of the sixth inning gave Lenape a 3-1 victory. Dana Bryson picked up the win for Lenape, while Paul VI suffered another non-divisional loss.
