The top of the Olympic Conference National Division has become a wide-open race between Paul VI, Timber Creek and Bishop Eustace. Each has played one another with the exception of Paul VI matching up with Timber Creek. The Eagles from Paul VI were hosting the Crusaders from Bishop Eustace and were looking to pick up their fourth win of the season. Paul VI scored all of the goals of the game in the first half and it was enough to get by the Crusaders.

Paul VI would capitalize on an opportunity early on when Brian Blumenstein was in the right place at the right time. His shot got past the goalkeeper and the Eagles were up by a goal. Eustace was able to move the soccer ball down field, but the defenders from Paul VI was able to push the ball out of bounce halting their momentum. Paul VI got another goal late in the first half from Mike Baptiste. That lead would hold up during the second half and Paul VI would remain ahead of pack in their division.
