Martin Marshall scored early into the third period to lift Timber Creek into a 2-2 tie against Williamstown in high school hockey action played at the Skate Zone in Voorhees. In a well-played game between two evenly matched teams, the game was tight from start to finish. Justin Osterdahl scored the only goal of the first period, on the power play as he was stationed in front of the net and put home a rebound of a shot by Mark Cunnard. Timber Creek came back to tie the game, again with Williamstown on the power play.

This time they kept the pressure in the offensive zone and forced a turnover thanks to the tenacious back checking of Gary Scott Jr. and Danny Cavallaro. After Scott just missed on a breakaway, Cavallaro kept the puck in the zone and found Scott down low and his quick shot found the net to tie the game at 1-1. Joshua Haynes the defenseman, not to be confused with Joshua Haines the goaltender who played stellar in nets for Williamstown, scored on the power play on a blast from the point late in the period to give Williamstown a 2-1 lead heading into the third period. After Marshall tied the game at 2-2, both teams had chances but failed to capitalize and Timber Creek skated off with a well-deserved point.
