Timber Creek out worked Williamstown in skating to a 2-2 tie on Friday night at Hollydell, as goalie Chris Costa stopped all 13 shots in the third period to help secure the point. Dennis Cunard scores both Williamstown goals, Marin Marshall and Seth Pohle scored the goals for Timber Creek. Williamstown scored the only goal of the first period, with Josh Haynes making a diving stop at the point to keep the puck in the zone, he found Justin Osterdahl in the high slot, and his shot was stopped, but Cunard was there to put home the rebound. Timber Creek did not muster much offense, electing to play stay at home defense and wait for a scoring chance.

That chance came early in the second period as Mark Lamberto also made a dive at the point to keep the puck in and Marshall was all alone at the side of the net and he banged home the tying goal. After Cunard scored his second goal of the game, this one on the power play, Timber Creek tied the game as Pohle lifted the puck over the goaltender with under two minutes left in the period. Neither team could score in the third period as both teams spent more time killing penalties and Costa made several big saves including stoning Ostaerdahl on a breakaway to preserve the tie.
