As the season begins to wind down, every win counts especially the divisional match ups when the ultimate prize is to extend their season and or capturing the division title. The Cougars were in a position of picking up their first division win against the Lady Mustangs from Triton. Leading by a run after their top half of the fifth inning was completed, Cherry Hill West watched their opponent score 10 runs during their last two at bats to break this game wide open. Triton walked away with the 14-5 victory.

Triton looked to have a comfortable lead as they would take a 4-0 lead after the first inning. West would come through during the second and fifth innings to pull ahead by a run. But during the bottom half of the inning, the Mustangs came to pitcher Ashley Richards rescue by scoring eight times to pull ahead 12-5. Triton would add two more runs to their total and also pull one game closer to the five hundred percentage mark.
