David Gooch scored two goals in thirteen seconds with less than one minute remaining in the game to rally Clearview to a 4-4 tie with Washington Township before a packed house at Hollydell on Friday night. Township could have all but sewn up first place with a win but no longer controls its own destiny.

Township took an early lead as Chris Keyser scored on a rebound to make it 1-0. Clearview would tie the game at 1-1, scoring the first of its three power play goals as Chris Riggs found the back of the net. With just under one minute remaining in the period, Township got caught up ice and Gooch broke in all alone. Township's goalie Adam Seczech lost the race to the puck and Gooch put the puck into the empty net to give Clearview the 2-1 lead heading into period two.

Township scored the only two goals of the second period. Nick Martorano scored his first of two on the evening as he crept in from the point. Pete Laman slid a cross-ice pass right onto Martorano stick to tie the game at 3-3. About six minutes later, Drew Petersen was sent in by Martorano on a breakaway and his goal gave Township a 3-2 lead heading into the last period.

Martorano made it 4-2 as his shot from the point found the net and Township seemed in control. But Gooch had other ideas. With just under one minute left and on the power play, Coach Sullivan gambled and pulled the goalie for an extra attacker and Gooch found the net with fifty-two seconds left. Right after the face-off, Clearview dumped the puck in and Gooch out-hustled Township to the puck and his quick shot tied the game with thirty-nine seconds left. With the tie it's possible that Clearview and Township could meet in the semi-finals, not the finals for the first time in three years if it happens.
