David Moore had two goals and two assists, Christian Biscardi scored twice and Sean Furman added a goal and three assists as Washington Township easily handled Paul VI, 8-0. With the victory Township moved into a first place tie with Moorestown and Cherokee, but Township has played more games. Moore and Furman traded goals in the opening four minutes of the game; first Moore put home a rebound of a blast by Furman from the circle. Then Moore sent in Furman thirty-eight seconds later and Township led 2-0.

Paul VI could not muster much offense, their first shot came after six minutes had been played and they would only muster one more shot for the period. Midway through the period, after some good pressure from Township, Erik Forgrove scored his first goal of the season to make it 3-0. Late in the period Paul VI went on the power play with a chance to cut into the lead, but Marco Jordan intercepted a pass and his rocket from just over the blue line found the back of the net and Township led 4-0. Biscardi added a late goal for a 5-0 lead after the first period. Dave Smetaniuk, Biscardi and Moore added goals in the second period for an 8-0 lead and Township checked away the third period for the easy victory.

Notes: Joe Scafisi faced only eleven shots in nets for Township, but did get credit for an assist on Township's fifth goal. Disappointing crowd at Hollydell, but just wondering why two Tier 2 games were scheduled at 7:15 and 9:00, and with Township playing at home they played the early game?
