Brandon Jackmuff had four goals and an assist and Mike Foster was the difference in nets as West Deptford defeated Washington Township 5-2 to advance to the inaugural Tier 2 championship. Jason Pelle and James Novak scored the Township goals. The difference was Foster, despite going 11-4 in the regular season, whose goals against average was 4.27 while his counter part for Township, Mike Lalli, allowed just over two goals a game. After Jackmuff had scored on a breakaway to give West Deptford a 1-0 lead, Foster stoned Ryan Jagielski from point blank range to keep Township off the board.

Jackmuff scored again converting on a 3-on-1 as he undressed the defenseman and after getting Lalli to commit to his forehand he lifted a backhander into the empty net. Right before the period ended, West Deptford had a two-man advantage and Jackmuff hit Brad Clifford in front and his goal gave West Deptford a 3-0 lead heading into the second period. Still on the power play to begin the period, Jackmuff scored from just inside the left circle to make it 4-0. After Novak jammed home a loose puck in front of the net to bring Township to within 4-1, Township was hoping to build some momentum off that goal but Foster robbed Mike Duczkowski twice and West Deptford limited the amount of odd-man rushes. Five minutes into the third period Jackmuff scored from along the side of the net deflecting the puck off of Lalli's pads to put the game away at 5-1. Pelle scored a late goal but West Deptford skated away with a 5-2 victory. They will play the winner of the Lenape/Moorestown series, starting on Monday night at Hollydell.
