There's something special about playing baseball at West Deptford for both the fans and players. The excellent facility gives all a perfect view of the field. For the players on the field, they also have their site set on is it possible to if your well hit ball can clear the fence. When the fifth seeded Bulldogs from Haddonfield watched West Deptford’s Matt Sanders’ solo homerun send this game into extra innings, they would respond with two round trippers in the top of the eighth to finally end this South Jersey Group 2 competition. Haddonfield advance to the semifinals and earn the rights to play Audubon after defeating the Eagles by a 6-3 score.

West Deptford would hold an early one run lead only to see it disappear. The fourth seeded Eagles would eventually responded by scoring single runs in the fifth and sixth innings to even this game up at three apiece. During the top half of the eighth inning, pitcher Andy Console delivered a long drive over the fence to put Haddonfield up by a run. Matt Kirchner followed his lead in the same inning with a two run home run to put this game out of reach.
