Another dominated game by Jonathan Greene and the Wildwood Warriors as they came in with a 9-4 record and beat the Cape Christian Cougars by 44 points, 83-39. To start for Wildwood it was Bobby Mulholland (11), Shane Toland (23), Pedro Perez (21), Rashon Keith (30), and Dante Rsheed (14). The Cougars started the game with a layup by #55 who quickly stole the ball after the layup and got fouled to get 2 more at the stripe. After that being done, Wildwood went on a 12-4 run. Wildwood shot 76.3% in the first quarter with some excellent shots by Jon Greene and Pedro Perez. Jon Greene had 14 of his 27 points in the first quarter. The score of the first quarter was 20-10, Wildwood leading.

Starting the second quarter, Wildwood did not seem satisfied with the 10 point lead they had so they decided to pick up their pace. Jon Greene, the league's leading scorer in points per game once again lit up the 2nd quarter with 11 points and 2 blocks. Freshman B.J. Jones came off the bench and quickly hit 4 points for Wildwood and got 3 steals in the 2nd quarter. B.J. had 11 total points in the game. As the usual Varsity starters sat for the rest of the 2nd quarter with 4 minutes to go the lead was 12 points. Wildwood JV starters Donn Righter (12), Dave Righter (13), B.J. Jones (4), Roshon Keith and Dante Rsheed finished out the last 4 minutes in the 2nd quarter strong as they extended the lead from 12 to 20. Wildwood has a bright future with these young JV players who are slowly stepping up at the Varsity level and hold an 11-0 record on the JV level. The score for the first half was 47-27.

As the 3rd period began the Wildwood Warriors still did not feel comfortable with their 20 point lead. Junior Pedro Perez hit a 3 point Field Goal to open a Wildwood 23-8 run. Pedro had 8 points in the 3rd quarter. B.J. Jones got 5 more points, and Adrian Santiago 4.

As the final quarter began coach Rocco Sansone felt he had already won and decided to put the JV players in to finish out the game. Donn Righter quickly scored a 2 point field goal which is beautifully assisted by Tyree Alston (22), who ended the game with 3 steals and 2 assists. Jones hit a 3 point field goal and extended the Wildwood lead to 44 points. Wildwood's Jon Greene ended up with 27 points and 16 rebounds, Adrian Santiago with 8 points, 12 rebounds, and 6 blocks, Pedro Perez with 13 points, 4 steals, and 3 assists, Bobby Mulholland with 6 points, 6 steals, and 4 assists, B.J. Jones with 11 points, 5 steals, and 2 assists, Jeremiah Brown (Jiggly Puff) with 5 points 4 steals and 3 assists, Keith and Rsheed both end up with 3 points, 3 steals, and 3 assists, Donn Righter with 2 points 3 steals 1 block, and 1 assist.

The Wildwood Warriors face the Clayton Clippers on Friday January 31st in a double header game, the Wildwood Girls at 5:30 pm and the Wildwood Boys at 7:00 pm. The Wildwood and Clayton game will once again be at home for the second time this season due to a leak inside the Clayton Clippers gymnasium.
