Andrew Finn scored four goals and Williamstown erupted for four goals in the third period and went on to defeat Cherry Hill East 9-5 in Voorhees. Joshua Haines stopped thirty-eight shots, including twenty in a wild second period where the teams combined for seven goals. Kevin Vaks and Louis Stomel led East scoring two goals apiece. Williamstown led 2-1 after the first period on goals by Finn, and then after Vaks tied the score at 1-1, Justin Osterdahl put Williamstown ahead with assists to Tom Ruiz and Dennis Cunnard.

The second period saw East take a 4-2 lead as Stomel and Vaks scored in the first two minutes of the period. Moments later, Stomel put East up and seemingly in control. However, Finn scored two goals in two minutes to tie the game at 4-4. With Haines making several big saves, Jonathan Anderson gave Williamstown a 5-4 lead with less than three minutes left in the period only to have Scott Frank tie the score at 5-5 in the last nineteen seconds. Anderson wasted little time as he scored in the first minute of the third period to give Williamstown a 6-5 lead. Finn scored his fourth of the game at the five-minute mark to give Williamstown some breathing room at 7-5. Goals by Tom Sheridan and Jack McDonough ninety seconds apart in the final five minutes put East away.
