Larkin and Irlich lead Williamstown to First Win

Tim Larkin scored three goals and Jason Irlich added two goals and an assist as Williamstown defeated Rancocas Valley 5-3 to win their first game of the season. Sean Fleming led RV with two goals.Larkin scored four minutes into the game, and that turned out to be the only goal of the first period. After Larkin scored on a breakaway in the opening moments of the second period, Irlich followed up with his first of two goals with Jim Watkins assisting and the lead grew to 3-0.
Fleming got RV back in the game scoring goals ten seconds apart, to cut the lead to 3-2 heading into the final stanza. Mike Walsh scored the tying goal for RV on a breakaway and early in the period we were knotted at 3-3. Irlich scored the eventual game winner on a backhander from the slot and Larkin completed his hat trick putting home a rebound of a shot by Irlich for the 5-3 final.
